After graduating from the School of Economics, Prague where she studied economic and mathematical calculations Zdeňka Klapalová worked as a fellow at the Management Theory Department of the same institution and a consultant of a number of local as well as international companies. She was awarded the prize “The Best Young Economist of the Year 1988” by the Economic Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. In 1991 she successfully finished the postgraduate studies of the Planning and Management subject. During her study and work at the School of Economics she also provided assistance for various companies both in Czechoslovakia and in foreign countries (World Bank, České radiokomunikace). In 1991 she founded an agency of Ryden in Czechoslovakia. Later she became a partner in this company in U.K. and Ryden was sold to Knight Frank mainly as a result of her support of this move. At present she is a Managing Director of and partner in Knight Frank in the Czech Republic and AREMD President.
Ing. Jan Sadil - Vice-President of the Board of Directors

After graduating from the Czech University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture Jan Sadil dealt in real estate appraisal. In the following year he entered a new Mortgage Credit Department of Komerční banka where he held various positions. In 2000 he advanced to the position of Credits for Individuals Department Manager of Komerční banka. In 2001 he was appointed a member of the Board of Directors of Českomoravská hypoteční banka, a.s. At present he is a Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Hypoteční banka. He successfully finished two postgraduate studies: Court Engineering at the Court Engineering Institute attached to the Technology Research Institute, Brno and Monetary Economy and Banking at the School of Economics. He represents Hypoteční banka, a.s. in the Commission for Mortgage Credit Transactions within the Banking Association. He is a member of the Board of Directors of AREMD.

Gabriel Achour graduated from the Charles University, Faculty of Laws, Prague in 1998. In the academic year 1995 he studied at University of London. From 2001 he has been an attorney‑at‑law of the Czech Bar Chamber. From 2001 he works for Glatzová & Co. lawyers’ office. He specializes in legal relations to real estates and project financing, acquisitions, credit transactions and provision of securities for obligations. He is a member of the legislative section of AREMD. He regularly publishes articles regarding financing and developer project implementation.
Dr. Tomáš Drtina - member of Board of Directors

Tomáš Drtina is a co-owner and Managing Director of INCOMA Research. The degree of doctor was awarded to him following his studies of economic and regional geography. After a short employment with Trade Research Institute he founded INCOMA research and consulting company together with other persons in 1991. INCOMA became one of the prominent marketing research agencies during 1990’s gaining a leading position in the area of retail analyses, regional research and real estate research. INCOMA acted as a consultant for dozens real estate developer projects. In 2000 the company became a member of the global GfK Group where Mr. Drtina coordinates the “retail & real estate” research for Central and East Europe. From 2001 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of AREMD.

Tomáš Kulman graduated from the Czech University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture, Civil Engineering Economy and Management Department. His carrier started by a short-term attachment at Crédit Lyonnais Bank, Prague. Then he continued acquiring the qualifications and experience in the sphere of risk management, marketing and management being engaged by banking houses. At first as a consultant of Department for High-Scale Projects at Investiční a Poštovní banka, later as an enterprise banking manager at BNP-Dresdner Bank ČR and finally as a Major Account Department Manager at Živnostenská banka. In 2001 he entered Arthur Andersen Czech Republic as a senior consultant responsible for the segment of real estate services. From 2002 he has been working as a Real Estate and Travel Leisure & Tourism senior consultant for KPMG Czech Republic. He is in charge of product introduction at the Czech and Slovak markets and management of relations with clients from the public and private sector. He is a member of the Association of Property Administrators and member of Board of Directors of AREMD.

Jiří Pácal graduated from the Charles University, Prague where he studied the subject Geography, Mathematics and Teaching, and Physical Geography as an extended subject. In 1991 he began to deal in real estate transactions, investments, administration and leasing, operation of associations of real estate owners, consulting and teaching. He held various positions in executive as well as statutory bodies of several investment companies (e.g. member of board of Directors of I. a II. Pražský nemovitostní fond a.s. and I. Lázeňský hotelový fond a.s.). From 1996 he has been a Managing Director and member of Board of Directors of Central Europe Holding a.s. focusing on investments in real estates. Several hundreds of transactions with apartment houses and commercial buildings and several thousands of flat ownership transfers to the tenants were made under his control. From 2000 he has been a Chairman of the Board of Directors of CZ BIJO a.s. dealing in environment, audits and waste management. Between 2003 and 2004 he was a member of the Board of Directors of KLEMENT a.s. building firm. In the real estate sphere he focuses particularly on apartment houses and related issues, Prague real estate market monitoring, consulting and real estate administration and operation. Apart from the investment activities, he provides education and consulting in the area of trade and communication (training programmes for Tchibo, Good Year, etc.) He is a member of the Civil Association of House Owners and works for several owners’ associations. From 2001 he has been a member of AREMD and from 2003 he has been sitting on its Board of Directors.
Ing. Karel Žalský - member of the Board of Directors

Karel Žalský graduated from the School of Economics, Prague and extended his education by study at the Price Institute attached to the School of Economics, Managers’ Course, Institute of Market Appraisal of Property attached to the Camber of Commerce of the Czech Republic and short-term study stays in U.K. and U.S.A. He presented INTERPROSPEKT at a lot of important international conferences (FIABCI congresses in Paris and Chicago, NAR conference in Atlanta, ...) and real estate trade fairs (MIPIM 94 and 95, MAPIC 95, IMMOS REALEX 92 – 95, FIBEX 95 and 96, ...). Together with other specialists of INTERPROSPEKT he worked on a lot of major projects such as International School of Prague, reconstruction of Union banka a.s. and Česká banka a.s. buildings, specifications of conditions for the implementation of Malá Šárka, Prague 6 – Nebušice, Residential and Office Building Complex Stodůlky, Prague 13 and other projects. Karel Žalský applies his rich experience also as a Vice-President of FIABCI - Czech Republic, member of NAR (National Association of Realtors, U.S.A.).
